A daughter to a humble, down to earth man called Dato’ Kamaruzaman had contacted me for a meeting. It was for her beloved father whom will soon tie the knot once again after a long while. As it goes in the reality TV Show “THE BACHELOR”, after 16 times meeting and getting to know other women, and making sure all his ‘candidates’ will be able to understand his needs, and will able to click with his beloved daughter…he finally had met ‘ THE ONE’. The one woman who he will soon claimed as his wife…Datin Intan Safina to be exact…

This is their story… (this is a re-enactment from a true event that had happened before this photo shoot was taken place, with the couple wearing the same shirts and dress to mimic the past)

All began when the eldest daughter, Nisya came to discuss her father’s wedding. Dato’ Kamaruzaman’s a very busy man. An important person in a big conglomerate. Petronas. He’s one of the ‘back-bone’ in Petronas overseeing and managing the events that the big company’s hosting. His job title? An Event Consultant. Nisya knew what her father wanted for his wedding. She had discussed with her father many nites before. And so, she came and let it all out to me. There’s a material viewing session at  the top floor of Wisma Jakel, Palace of Silks and Furnishings in Shah Alam. The top floor, only accessible by the few, offers a private viewing for the soon to be newly weds. It’s a place where only exquisite and luxurious fabrics were brought to be sampled. Clearly not for the masses.

Next session was at Altelia Amani Boutique. This is where all the fabrics were brought to be tailor-made specifically to the styles and to the exact cutting for the loving couple. Altelia Amani has been given the exclusive job to make all 3 sets of clothes for the couples wedding. All the intricate part of making the dress and baju melayu are done here. Dato’ certainly had preferred this place. The attention to detail of this boutique was beyond the compare. Simply Exquisite.
